At Cafe BLUE

A church leader friend guided me through the apparent maze of modern coffee choices and we enjoyed a catching up time after several months of little contact. I tried hard to tell him unemotionally of my concern to establish/recognise a ‘place of prayer and encounter with the manifest presence of God’ but again was unsuccessful! He listened very intently and then proceeded to reveal a similar sense of call, partly inspired by Mike Bickle’s International House of Prayer movement and which has revived in him a commitment to writing a book and to a re-emphasis on a lifestyle of prayer. I guess we were both surprised for neither of us expected this degree of synergy but knew that it was more than coincidence; a God strategy is at work: a prayerful linking of one generation with the significant next generation.
