pulling together

Down on the beach for our early prayer time and instead of taking the sea view side of the picnic table we took the land view. As we prayed together a huge transporter truck carrying massive earth-moving equipment rumbled down the hill towards us and unloaded. As it move away I noticed that the many wheeled long trailer’s rear sets of wheels also turned (steering as well or at least facilitating the tight turn), synchronised with the pulling truck. Oh for a church where everyone knows where we are going and everyone pulls together in harmony: a fully functioning body is more effective that one man trying to steer alone at the front, although leaders have a role to play!

And what does Ezekiel have to say about wheels?
